Here are some thoughts on who would be successful in the role. We know we won’t be able to assess these from your CV, but our interview process will be designed around them:

  • Scrappiness: You autonomously drive value, thrive in ambiguity, and bias towards action.
  • Breadth: You are comfortable crossing functional boundaries and jumping into unfamiliar terrain.
  • Quality obsession: You ship meaningful customer value quickly without trading off quality — the kind of early-stage magic that sets great startups apart.
  • Impact: You aim to bend the company’s trajectory through results and execution, not just write papers, build dashboards, or deliver code for its own sake.
  • Industry context: We’re building around technical payments infrastructure so prior experience in fraud/financial crime, fintech, or banking is a plus.
