This position reports to the Regulatory Reporting Manager and works closely with the Head of Regulatory Reporting.     Your Impact: Building a sustainable tomorrow   Core Regulatory Reporting  <ul> <li>Assist in the production of the full suite of regulatory reports (COREP, FINREP, PRA, BoE) and internal reporting of regulatory metrics </li> <li>Support the monthly preparation of other returns to the FCA </li> <li>Assist in the preparation of Bank of England Statistical Returns (BT, ELS, AD, AL, BE) </li> <li>Maintain and update the horizon scanning tracker  </li> </ul> Data Quality & Controls  <ul> <li>Review and challenge data inputs and outputs, ensuring regulatory information is prepared and disclosed consistently </li> <li>Operate daily regulatory reporting procedures and contribute towards process automation </li> <li>Support the maintenance of Operating Model documentation, processes, and procedures </li> <li>Assist in testing data extraction and quality of regulatory reporting   </li> </ul> Documentation & Support  <ul> <li>Support documentation updates for Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Assumption and Interpretation Manuals  </li> <li>Provide ad-hoc support for ICAAP, ILAAP, Recovery Plan, and Solvent Exit Analysis drafting </li> <li>Assist in Basel 3.1 implementation activities </li> <li>Support various regulatory surveys and ad-hoc requests   </li> </ul> Business Analysis & Development  <ul> <li>Help identify potential capital savings and liquidity generation opportunities when preparing regulatory returns </li> <li>Assist in reviewing business growth developments and assess their regulatory reporting impact </li> <li>Support training initiatives for business stakeholders on capital impacts of business decisions </li> <li>Contribute to regulatory reporting projects that feed into commercial business plans  </li> </ul> We’d love to hear from you if you have:  Essential:  <ul> <li>Previous experience in regulatory reporting or financial services industry essential </li> <li>Part-qualified or recently qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) </li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills </li> <li>Excellent attention to detail and accuracy </li> <li>Proficient in MS Excel and data analysis tools </li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills </li> <li>Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team </li> <li>Knowledge of UK regulatory framework and reporting requirements </li> <li>Understanding of regulatory concepts and reporting requirements </li> <li>Knowledge of capital and liquidity calculations, ratios, and related workings </li> <li>Familiarity with regulatory reporting systems and tools </li> <li>Understanding of data quality and control
