Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 36.25 hours per week
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 and up to 20% bonus,
Location: Cardiff - Hybrid

The main purpose of the role is to ensure all aspects of onboarding are carried out with care and attention to detail, adhering to the appropriate policies, procedures and government legislation. Supporting the ongoing monitoring and oversight to ensure continued adherence to requirements and outcomes. The job holder will be required to comply with the individual conduct rules and meet the Company’s fit and proper standards, which will be assessed on a regular basis.

The Onboarding and Oversight team are responsible for onboarding our dealer and broker partners, supporting our account managers and other operational teams whilst also effectively managing oversight and reporting required within day-to-day operations. Working with our Introducer Partners and other areas of the business to ensure we are delivering the best possible customer outcomes when working to resolve reconciliation of funds.
Your Impact: Building a greener tomorrow
As an Onboarding and Oversight Agent at Tandem your focus will be on:
- Completion of Due Diligence checks when onboarding intermediaries, including checking that the intermediary is authorised by the FCA, has all relevant permissions and no adverse feedback.
- Ensure all intermediaries are financially stable by carrying out Credit checks and where appropriate reviewing company financial information such as annual accounts.
- On approval of the intermediary, ensure that an Introducer Agreement is signed, and set the Introducer up on the company systems.
- Provide prompt and regular communication and updates with all internal and external parties.
- Conducting regular reviews on Dealer and Broker portfolios ensuring they remain compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Manage reconciliation of monthly commission, statements, and instructions to release funds.
- Management of relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure activity relating to complaints and recovery of funds is managed effectively.
- Ensuring SLA’s are met and when possible exceeded for our intermediaries and customers.
- Undertake periodic reviews to ensure ongoing oversight of approved intermediaries.
- Good Commercial understanding.
- Ensuring our Fair and Green outcomes are upheld and championed.
- Ownership of individual performance and personal development.
- Represent the department and positively contribute to relevant committee meetings/projects groups as directed by leadership team.
- Maintain good level of knowledge of the relevant industry sector.
- Accountability for individual performance and contribution to achieve KPI’s set by the business.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- Good organisational and time management skills resulting in the ability to prioritise tasks to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong computer literacy including working experience in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent attention to detail and a desire to provide excellent customer service.
- Providing a positive outlook to daily activities and tasks.
- Ability to self-motivate and use own initiative to achieve individual targets.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Good questioning techniques.
- Good investigative skills
It would be great, but not essential if you have:
- Previous Financial Services Experience
- Customer Services Experience
