Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accounts and Finance Executive role based in Pune City. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting activities, including bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations. The Accounts and Finance Executive will assist in preparing and reviewing financial statements, coordinating monthly and annual closing, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes. The role includes responsibility for accurate tax compliance and documentation, particularly related to Goods and Services Tax (GST), as well as supporting statutory and internal audits. The professional in this position will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, monitor cash flows, and help maintain robust internal controls and financial discipline.

What You'll Do

US Accounting

  • Support bookkeeping and accounting activities for the US entity.
  • Assist with month-end close and financial reporting.
  • Work with external accountants/CPAs on compliance and reporting requirements.
  • Gain exposure to US GAAP and cross-border accounting processes.

Indian Accounting & Compliance

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations and financial records.
  • Ensure compliance with Indian statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Handle GST filings, reconciliations, and related compliance activities.
  • Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and statutory records.

Revenue Reporting & MIS

  • Prepare monthly revenue reports and management MIS.
  • Support revenue recognition, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.

Invoicing & Collections

  • Generate and manage customer invoices through Zoho Books.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on collections.
  • Maintain AR aging reports and help resolve outstanding balances.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong foundation in accounting and finance principles.
  • Basic exposure to US accounting processes (preferred).
  • Experience with GST compliance and Indian statutory requirements.
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (Zoho Books experience is a plus).
  • Attention to detail, ownership mindset, and strong analytical skills.

Required Qualifications:

- Graduate / MBA (Finance).

- 3-5 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance.

- Strong knowledge of US & Indian statutory compliance (Preferrable US).

- Hands-on experience in Zoho Books.

- Experience in revenue reporting, invoicing, and receivables management.

- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
