The Learning and Development Manager will be responsible for designing and driving a comprehensive learning strategy aligned with business objectives, specifically supporting the Distribution and Logistics verticals. This role will lead the creation of an in-house Learning Management System (LMS), develop impactful training programs, and ensure continuous skill development across the organization. LMS Development & Management: Lead the end-to-end development and implementation of an in-house LMS platform to deliver training content effectively. Continuously optimize for user experience and learning outcomes.
Content Development: Plan, design, and execute training content tailored for LMS deployment, ensuring alignment with business needs and learner engagement.
Strategy & Design: Develop and implement a company-wide L&D strategy focused on Distribution and Logistics teams, ensuring integration with broader organizational goals.
Program Management: Create and deliver diverse learning programs (workshops, e-learning, blended formats) while ensuring strategic time utilization and learning effectiveness.
Training Needs Analysis: Identify current and future skill gaps across departments through systematic needs assessments and stakeholder consultations.
Impact Measurement: Track training outcomes and return on investment (ROI), providing regular reports to leadership with insights and recommendations.‍
Coaching & Mentoring: Establish and support internal coaching and leadership development initiatives to foster a culture of continuous learning and growth.

Qualification and experience

Professional Experience:

Minimum 6 years of experience in Learning and Development, with at least 2 years in a strategic role.
Proven experience designing and delivering learning solutions, including LMS setup and management.
Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design.
Experience working in distribution, logistics, or similar high-volume operational environments preferred.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or related field.
Professional certifications in L&D, instructional design, or coaching will be considered an advantage.
