Role overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Sr. Executive/ Executive- Accounts to join our Finance team. The role will focus on financial planning, analysis, reporting, and providing insights that support strategic business decisions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, financial modeling expertise, and the ability to work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders.
Job description
- Manage Core Accounting Operations: Prepare all journal entries, maintain general ledger accuracy, and perform regular bank reconciliations.
- Financial Reporting & Compliance: Handle audit documentation and queries, support financial statement preparation, and ensure adherence to accounting standards.
- Interest & FD Management: Calculate FD income, track interest accruals, monitor maturities, and maintain records of all financial instruments.
- Management Accounts & Software Usage: Prepare monthly management accounts and efficiently use QuickBooks for all accounting activities.
- Performance Monitoring & Insights: Monitor key financial and business performance indicators, develop dashboards and reports, and provide actionable insights to management.
Qualification and experience
Professional Experience:
- 2–4 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or corporate finance (FMCG/Startup/Fintech experience is a plus).
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets (financial modeling, pivot tables, advanced formulas).
- Proficiency in financial reporting tools, QuickBooks, and NetSuite is a must.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams.
- High attention to detail with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. (Master’s/ ACCA/ CFA part-qualified preferred).
