About the role
As a Recoveries and Payments Analyst, you will be instrumental in improving the processes that support vendor payments, recoveries, escheatment, and compliance within our financial operations team Your contributions will directly impact Reserv's ability to provide seamless, tech-driven claims management and reconciliation ensuring that we continue to set new standards in the industry. What we need
We need you to do all the things typical of the role:
- Support vendor payment and recovery operations, ensuring compliance and efficiency
- Process, record, and distribute vendor payments accurately and on schedule
- Assist in escheatment activities, coordinating to resolve outstanding payments through voids, reissues, and claims updates
- Analyze payment data by claim, payee, and account to manage aging items and implement strategies for timely recovery and compliance
- Identify and drive improvements to streamline existing processes and tools
- Assist with payment audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Maintain and create process documentation
- Partner with the broader financial operations team to support reconciliations, monthly financial reporting, and related analyses
- Actively identify opportunities for optimization to support continuous improvement
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in an accounting, finance, or analytical role, ideally with a TPA or insurance environment
- Familiarity with invoice processing, reconciliations, escheatment and financial documentation is a plus
- Strong proficiency in data tools such as Excel or similar platforms; experience with visualization tools is a plus.
- Proven ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Attention to detail, analytical mindset; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of or exposure to escheatment and/or recoveries processes is a plus
