About HoneyCoin
HoneyCoin is building the financial infrastructure that powers Africa's next wave of commerce. We make it possible for businesses to collect, convert, and settle money across borders, fast, affordably, and reliably, using a hybrid of fiat and stablecoin rails that cut through the cost and friction of legacy banking. Our platform is already live across Africa, Europe, North America, and Asia, processing over $500M per quarter and serving 350+ enterprise customers.
We raised a $4.9M seed round backed by Flourish Ventures, Visa Ventures, TLcom Capital, Stellar Development Foundation, 4DX Ventures, and Antler. We've also partnered with Tether to expand stablecoin access across the continent. We're licensed in the US, Canada, the EU, and key African market
Our values: Agency · Work ethic · Sense of urgency · Attention to detail · CuriosityWe're looking for a highly ambitious operator who wants to accelerate their path to becoming a tech executive — or founding their own startup. In this role, you'll work side-by-side with our CEO across every part of the business: strategy, fundraising, partnerships, and operations. You'll need a high operational IQ, a bias for action, and the ability to context-switch and execute at speed.
This is the most direct path to earning the skills, network, and experience needed to launch and lead your own venture.
What you will own from day one
- CEO calendar and prep - scheduling, priorities, pre-meeting notes. Make sure every meeting has a purpose and outcome. Protect time and be comfortable saying no.
- Moonshot partnerships - research partners, prep decks, run follow-ups, keep things moving without being chased.
- Wild bets and projects - take a project end to end. Get inputs, align people, ship it.
- Fundraise support - investor decks, updates, data room, coordination, tracking conversations.
- Basic structure and process - trackers, templates, weekly cadence so nothing gets dropped.
Non-negotiables
- Super organised and reliable. If you say you will do something, it gets done.
- Can take messy, unclear situations and turn them into a plan with clear next steps.
- Strong writing and slides. You can make a clean deck fast.
- Comfortable talking to senior people and confident following up.
