The Role
We're looking for a sharp, customer-obsessed Customer Success Associate to join our Nairobi team. You'll be the first line of relationship management for our customers, ensuring they get real value from the HoneyCoin platform from day one. This isn't a passive support role. You'll proactively engage customers, resolve issues with urgency, and act as their internal advocate, feeding insights back to product and operations to drive continuous improvement.

What You'll Do
  • Own the post-onboarding customer relationship, building deep trust with key accounts and ensuring consistent satisfaction across the customer lifecycle
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat, with a focus on fast, high-quality resolution
  • Proactively identify at-risk accounts and work cross-functionally to address gaps before they escalate
  • Gather, document, and route customer feedback to internal teams; you'll be the voice of the customer inside HoneyCoin
  • Identify and act on upsell and cross-sell opportunities where they genuinely serve the customer's needs
  • Monitor customer health metrics and follow up on all interactions to ensure satisfactory outcomes
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Operations using ClickUp to manage tasks, track issues, and drive resolution across the customer lifecycle

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree (First Class or Second Class Upper) in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a customer success, account management, or customer service role; fintech or payments experience is a strong plus
  • Based in Nairobi, Kenya, or able to commute without relocation support
  • Proficiency with project management and CRM tools; hands-on experience with ClickUp is required, and familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, or Zendesk is an advantage
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; you write clearly and speak with confidence
  • Strong active listening skills and emotional intelligence; you can read a room and adapt your tone accordingly
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability; you don't just escalate, you diagnose and drive resolution
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities without dropping the ball
  • A natural relationship builder who follows through consistently
