About the Team
This role is part of the broader External Affairs team, in GSMA’s Advocacy Department. We act on behalf of the mobile industry to maximize its impact on economies and societies through global initiatives. By doing so, we help position the mobile industry as a critical partner for digital transformation and attract the right relationships with international organisations, public and private partners around the world. The Capacity Building team was established in 2014 as a response to ever increasing training needs from the regulatory community across the exceptionally fast-paced mobile sector. We have since built a world-leading professional training programme that delivers courses on pressing Mobile Policy topics to policymakers and regulators across the globe. The programme fosters a positive and collaborative environment for industry regulators and our internal programmes across Technology, Advocacy and Mobile for Development.
The Capacity Building Programme not only addresses knowledge gaps, but works to enable effective policy decisions that promote growth and innovation for the benefit of digital citizens globally. The team is home to a dynamic mix of talents that work across the organization to develop content and engage influencers throughout the industry to deliver our programme via a mix of platforms.
We look forward to welcoming fresh ideas and perspectives from our new recruit.
