About The Team
The Project Services Team in the GSMA provides project management capabilities to deliver change initiatives across the mobile industry. Working in close partnership with and subject matter experts within the GSMA and from across the mobile industry, the Project Services team manages a wide range of projects in all areas of the organisation, including Technology, Product Development, Marketing and Events, as well as internal facing projects in IT, Finance and HR.
Project Services is the delivery engine for projects across the GSMA. As well as delivering projects to agreed cost, quality and timelines, the Project Services team maintains a strong focus on delivering benefits to our colleagues, our members and to the mobile industry.
The Senior Project Manager will play a critical role in the development of GSMA Fusion. Fusion is GSMA’s initiative created to identify how the needs of enterprises within specific industry verticals could be best served with today’s advanced networks.
About the Role
As a Senior Go-to-Market Project Manager in the Project Services team, you will be responsible for helping set the direction and coordinating the execution for GSMA Fusion within the high-profile GSMA Open Gateway initiatives. Working with the Fusion team and the wider GSMA Open Gateway team to onboard enterprise buyers and bring the ecosystem together to inform, develop & launch Open Gateway solutions in the market within the GSMA anti-trust guidelines and framework.
An ability to apply high-level, problem solving, stakeholder management and structured delivery in an antitrust environment and at high pace will be key to success in this role.
You will:
Engage and build relationships with various stakeholders & ecosystem players relevant to GSMA Fusion in an identified market context, working closely with GSMA and external stakeholder.
Ensure and apply Antitrust practice through diligently observing and enforcing agreed protocols in all meetings conducted and materials created under Open Gateway initiatives.
Map, engage and influence stakeholders (internal & external) effectively.
Establish a working model for market engagement in regions and across functions, and successfully shape and execute projects accordingly.
Establish clear plan, roles & responsibilities, and secure buy-in and resources required for the project/programme with ecosystem champions and partners as well as with internal stakeholders.
Implement an effective & regular communication plan including reporting to various stakeholders & project team for transparency and trust building.
Prepare & chair efficient and effective internal and external/project meetings (up to C-level), prepare minutes and follow-up on the meeting outcomes.
Identify synergies and leverage collaboration opportunities across the different activities in the programme as well as the wider organisation for mutual benefit and efficiency.
Document and share learnings from each market to replicate success and minimise risks & issues.
The successful candidate will report into a Senior Project Manager.

Capabilities
As a Go-To-Market Senior PM you will need the following skills:
Experience of managing large and complex projects in a global matrix programme setting.
Excellent relationship-building skills and experience with diverse sets of senior commercial, technical, legal and regulatory stakeholders from organisations across different sectors and value-chain and from multi-cultural and multi-language backgrounds.
Previous experience facilitating & delivering collaborative initiatives with mobile ecosystem players, governed by Antitrust rules.
Diligent in applying and facilitating antitrust practice & rules.
Track record of successfully managing highly complex Go-to-market and partnership-related projects from proposition development to launch.
Familiar with working with Mobile operators, Cloud providers, Channel Partners, Enterprise Solution Developers.
Ability to navigate complex multi-geography, multinational corporate organisations for the purpose of engaging on joint projects.
Deep experience of working with enterprises and working within a B2B environment ideally with some telecoms background.
Effective stakeholder management and networking skills to build effective internal and external working relationships in order to achieve stretching partnership.
Comfortable operating with a level of ambiguity, and leverage insights to form a clear path to get to the desired outcomes.
Able to adapt approach and communication to the needs of different audiences (seniority, interests, etc.).
Solid experience in managing significant project budgets and applying the relevant change control tactics as required.
Able to absorb complex information and communicate effectively at all levels to both expert and non-expert audiences.
Knowledge and experience in analysis and problem solving.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills, demonstrating clear and concise communications and written fluency in English (and local languages if relevant).
Prepare and confidently present to a variety of audiences up to C-suites, and excellent presentation and information sharing practices.
Understanding of and willingness to gain understanding of broader operator compliance and governance topics.
Commercial understanding of project outcomes and how these relate to an organisation’s P&L.
