Founder Associate
Fuse Financial Technologies
About Fuse
Fuse is rebuilding clearing from the ground up. Fintech has gone global and emerging markets have become growth markets, transitioning from high risk jurisdictions to must have corridors, but clearing banks haven’t evolved. We believe the clearing stack needs to be rebuilt. Treasury pooling and/or stablecoins fix surface level issues, but no one is rebuilding the underlying infrastructure in each market - from correspondent nostro account networks to clearing on local central banks.
We’re building a new type of clearing bank, connecting globally important growth markets (such as the Middle East, China, India, Turkey and many more) to G7 currencies through named virtual accounts in every jurisdiction. We take quality very seriously - using our own direct central bank clearing where possible, applying for global banking licenses, operating a universal reliance KYC model - all to ensure the same few lines of code enables a correctly named payment from a local account in every market, making us the ideal clearing partner for any cross border payment.
The Role
We’re looking for a highly entrepreneurial Founder’s Associate to work directly with our CEO. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll move between strategy, execution, and analysis — one moment you’ll be writing SQL queries to power dashboards, the next preparing a regulator presentation, and the next drafting investor materials.
You’ll own projects end-to-end, with the autonomy to identify problems, design solutions, and execute at speed. This isn’t about highlighting issues — it’s about being the one who solves them.
- Regulatory & External Materials: Craft decks, memos, and analysis to help regulators, banks, and partners understand our model and risks.
- Fundraising & Investor Collateral: Build pitch decks, financial narratives, and data packs for investors and partners.
- Data & Analytics: Write SQL to combine datasets, troubleshoot inconsistencies, and create views that underpin dashboards.
- Business Planning & Forecasting: Support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modeling — translating business strategy into actionable financial plans.
- Strategic Initiatives: Launch and drive cross-functional projects from scoping through execution and handover.
- Performance Measurement: Define KPIs, set up tracking systems, and ensure leadership has a clear view of performance.
- Rapid Problem Solving: Be the first call for ambiguous or urgent issues — diagnose, propose, execute, then move on.
This is a fast paced execution driven role, if you're looking for structure and a clear job spec this job is not for you.
- 3–6 years’ experience in high-performance environments (startups, consulting, investment banking, venture, strategy, or similar).
- Strong technical/analytical skills — confident in SQL and Excel/Sheets; bonus if you’ve worked with Python or data pipelines.
- Exceptional communication — able to simplify complexity and craft compelling narratives for regulators, investors, and internal teams.
- Entrepreneurial, resourceful, and scrappy — you solve problems rather than escalate them.
- Comfortable shifting contexts quickly, from deep data work to high-level strategy.
- A bias to action: you move fast, iterate, and learn on the fly.
- A Macbook
- Opportunity to travel (if applicable)
- Flexible vacation time
- Private Healthcare
- Employee stock ownership (ESOP)
- Flexible working and autonomy
