Group Strategy Office (GSO) provides leadership and support in strategy, foresight, development and management efforts across the World Bank Group. It promotes the alignment, quality and coherence between the World Bank Group’s individual strategies.
We are seeking a Strategy Officer who will support the Director of the Group Strategy Office (GSOD) in designing, developing, and aligning strategy initiatives across the World Bank Group. This role will focus on establishing strategic frameworks, fostering innovation, and ensuring that strategic goals are ambitious and consistent with the organization’s mission.
The World Bank Group is seeking a Strategy Officer for Strategic Partnerships who will support the Director of the Group Strategy Office (GSOD) in advancing the institution’s philanthropy agenda, including the design and implementation of a philanthropy strategy and the establishment of a dedicated Hub.
The position will combine strategic development with operational coordination and external engagement, particularly in a European context.
• Support the development and operationalization of the World Bank Group’s philanthropy strategy, including analytical inputs, stakeholder mapping, and identification of priority engagement areas.
