Hi, we're Brigit! A holistic financial health company helping everyday Americans build a brighter financial future. With a business model that is aligned with our customers, we create transparent, fair, and simple financial products that put money back in the hands of our members, help them spend wisely, avoid unfair fees and build their credit quickly. If autonomy, ownership, and having meaningful input at the company you work for is important to you, come join our growing team!

Brigit is doing innovative and exciting work, but don’t just take our word for it, our work is being recognized by others:

Role overview:

Instant Cash (IC) is our flagship cash advance product and a market leader in the earned wage access (EWA) space. We facilitate millions of payments for everyday Americans who rely on us to help bridge their financial gaps and improve their long-term financial health.

We’re looking for a talented and driven Data Analyst to join the IC product team and help scale analytics at Brigit. Every decision we make – from product design to underwriting – depends on rigorous, timely, and actionable data. This is an opportunity to work on a high-impact surface area with a direct line to product, engineering, design, and executive leadership. You’ll be embedded in a high-performing cross-functional squad alongside product managers, engineers, and designers, and will collaborate closely with our data science, risk, and finance teams. The analyses, experimentation frameworks, and business cases you build will directly influence product direction, risk strategy, and customer experience.

This is a role for someone who’s technical, detail-oriented, and eager to tackle the unique challenges of real-time financial products. You’ll move fast, learn quickly, and see your work deployed into production – sometimes the same day.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Support experimentation at scale – Partner with product managers and engineers to design, implement, and analyze experiments that improve acquisition, retention, and repayment outcomes.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally – Work with data science, risk, finance, and executive leadership to translate analytical findings into actionable strategies

  • Deep-dive into risk performance – analyze product funnels, risk performance, and credit line utilization to identify opportunities for underwriting model improvements

  • Accelerate product growth – Explore opportunities to expand the ways that Brigit leverages third-party data integrations to create new avenues of growth

  • Enable faster decision-making – Monitor core KPIs to identify anomalies and emerging trends, driving timely interventions and strategic pivots

  • Scale analytics at Brigit – Build internal tools & analytics data models, and document methodologies, processes, and key learnings to scale analytical best practices across the team

What you have:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a data analytics or product analytics role (internships/co-ops count)

  • Deep proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (Looker, Mode, Tableau, or similar)

  • Experience conducting large-scale A/B experiments, analyzing results, and translating them into concrete recommendations

  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics)

*This is a full-time role which will operate out of Brigit’s New York office, with the option to work remote 2-3x per week.
