About the Role:

As Finance Manager, you will own Apollo’s group finance function end-to-end — accounting, reporting, tax, regulatory compliance, treasury, FP&A and lender reporting — supported by a small, experienced accounting team and Apollo’s AI-enabled finance tooling. You will work closely with leadership, auditors, tax advisors and lenders to keep the numbers accurate, the filings on time and the business well informed.

This is a hands-on role for someone with 7+ years of experience who is practical, detail-oriented and excited to run a broad finance scope with modern AI tools rather than a big team.

You:

  • Own the month-end close and group reporting. Oversee close, multi-entity and multi-currency consolidation, and IFRS statutory financial statements across our entities. Review key schedules, journals and reconciliations.

  • Lead audits, tax and statutory compliance. Coordinate external audits, manage auditors and tax advisors, and ensure timely and accurate tax and statutory filings across the Group.

  • Own the Group’s tax agenda. Manage direct and indirect taxes (corporate income tax, VAT, withholding and payroll taxes) across jurisdictions, and oversee the Group’s transfer pricing arrangements and intercompany charges.

  • Manage regulatory and business compliance. Oversee AML, licensing, business permits and other regulatory requirements across the Group, and keep compliance calendars and filings on track.

  • Run treasury and cash management. Oversee cash flow movements and liquidity management, FX exposure and banking relationships. Collaborate on cash flow forecast.

  • Drive budgeting and performance analysis. Lead the budget process, track actuals against plan, and give leadership clear insight into performance and outlook.

  • Own preparation of lender, investor and board reporting. Produce reporting packs, monitor covenant compliance, maintain debt schedules and respond to information requests.

  • Supervise and further develop a small, experienced accounting, compliance and investor relations teams. Set clear objectives, ownership and accountability across finance processes.

  • Automate with AI. This role is designed around AI-enabled ways of working — much of Apollo’s reporting, reconciliation and analysis is already automated, and you are expected to run, extend and improve that tooling so a lean team can cover a broad scope.

You might be a fit if you:

  • Have 7+ years of finance and accounting experience with increasing responsibility over time, including running a month-end close and reporting process

  • Hold a professional accounting qualification (K-CPA, ACCA, or equivalent)

  • Have strong experience with consolidation, IFRS statutory accounts and external audits

  • Have solid direct and indirect tax knowledge (CIT, VAT, WHT) with hands-on KRA/iTax and eTIMS experience; group transfer pricing exposure is a strong plus

  • Are comfortable across budgets and forecasts — as well as core accounting

  • Use AI tools in your daily work and are genuinely excited to automate your own job while maintaining a deep understanding of all materials you and your team produce

  • Are hands-on, organized and strong on follow-through, with the judgement to know what matters

  • Communicate clearly with senior stakeholders, auditors and lenders

Nice to have:

  • Experience across multiple jurisdictions or multi-entity groups

  • Exposure to external investor/lender reporting

  • Hands-on experience with Xero, Fathom or other cloud finance systems

  • Experience in fintech, lending, financial services or agriculture

We:

  • Work in cross-functional teams where finance is expected to be practical, collaborative and close to the business. We operate across multiple countries and value ownership, sound judgment, and people who help solve problems while maintaining the right controls.

  • Care about outcomes, not ego. We hold ourselves and each other to a high bar, and we all roll up our sleeves to make the work excellent.

  • Move fast, take smart risks, and build with urgency, because our customers' livelihoods depend on what we deliver.

  • Listen deeply, debate openly, and collaborate across boundaries, because the best ideas often come from unexpected places.

  • Offer competitive compensation, meaningful ownership, and the chance to grow on a team that takes your work and your development seriously.
