About the role
As our Commercial Operations Manager, you will be responsible for improving the Business Development team's performance by designing and implementing efficient commercial processes, defining detailed performance KPIs for the area, and driving incremental sales pipeline and revenue growth through clear prioritization and structured workflows. Your role will optimize team performance, ensure accountability, and align strategies with business objectives to achieve measurable results.
This is not a sales role; you will not be directly involved in selling. Instead, you will act as a project manager for the sales team, ensuring they have the structure, processes, and support needed to achieve their goals effectively.
What would you do?
- Responsible for the commercial team’s performance, improving current sales and customer support processes, and defining clear KPIs to measure and optimize results.
- Ensure Business Development integration with other teams by aligning sales processes across the company to achieve end-to-end integration of the acquisition funnel and relevant KPIs.
- Report and provide visibility on performance and results to the company and during key meetings.
- Effectively prioritize and manage the team pipeline to consistently meet/exceed quarterly targets.
- Project leadership of key albo cross-functional projects regarding acquisition funnel.
- Developing, championing, and instilling a rigorous, analytical, and data-driven approach to all sales activities.
- Responsible for the Business Development budget and resource allocation.
- Build and implement some of our most critical operational processes for the sales team.
- Provide feedback for the product team to develop new features based on customer needs.
- Identifying and prioritizing growth opportunities with existing and potential clients with high profitability potential.
- Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Customer Service teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment across all touchpoints.
